[RARE] We understand light and are advanced with low light which is what drives the distinctive cinematic feel to our work. Even the Flash Masters will admit, flash is a tedium of trial and error, we use continuous light so you get your epic shots in 2 attempts without the take 17 approach.

Every image is edited by hand using refined colour techniques for true-to-life skin tones. We have some of the most advanced editing techniques in the business and avoid turning faces grey or orange like umpa lumpas.

Wedding Stories

We aren’t posting on Instagram every day despite having shot over 550 weddings. This modern culture has sabotaged the wedding industry, making photographers spend 90% of their time looking for new clients and 10% on your wedding. You can tell because they refuse to show you full galleries. We go the other way, we spend 90% on your wedding and 10% on Instagram. We care about your whole wedding. Shots of your gran, your distant friendships, your connections, your whole story.

Documentary vs Editorial

When you are looking for a wedding photographer, nowadays you seem to have a choice of either an editorial photographer or a documentary photographer. An editorial photographer follows you with a flash all day. Pictures look cool, magazine ready, quite posey, but it can be exhausting on the day. A documentary photographer captures your friends and family and is more authentic. We do 10% editorial and 90% documentary. This way your day is given room to breathe, you can be yourselves and the awesome shots are precise rather than haphazard.

Photo vs Video

Some people want video some don’t. Many photographers are adding on video that looks like a video. We have shot over 150 cinematic films all over the country. If you are going to get it done, get something that inspires, rather than something anyone could do.
